Dillas, Burgess & MacFarlane are BGA Monthly Medal Winners
The Bermuda Golf Association held its May Monthly Medal at the Mid Ocean Club on Sunday, May 4th, 2025. This was the first BGA tournament in many years hosted by the Mid Ocean Club. The weather was spectacular to go along with the great course conditions and challenging pin placements.
In the Men’s Championship Flight there were 30 competitors all with a handicap index under 9.0. Congratulations to Jarryd Dillas who carded an even par 71 to capture the top spot on the leaderboard. Oliver Betschart took second honors with a 2 over par 73 with James Godwin rounding out the top three with a 5 over par 76. In the 2nd Flight, junior golfer Lewis MacFarlane turned in a fine round of 89 to secure gross honors with Lamont Marshall taking second place with a 91. Tracy Burgess carded an 86 to finish on top of the Ladies division with Katyna Rabain taking the second spot.
