Women and Girls in Golf Tournament

May 27th was the date to celebrate Women and Girls in Golf across the globe.  The Bermuda Golf Association hosted their Women and Girls in Golf Tournament at the Turtle Hill Golf Club with a 2:00pm shot gun start for the 8 foursomes that registered for the event.  The teams played under the Captains Choice format without any restrictions with only gross scores.  The veteran team of Tracy Burgess, Ann Symonds, Valerie Nearon and Katyna Rabain captured the top spot with an impressive 6 under par 48.  They were followed by the team of Linda Down, Katrin Burnie, Elaine Parker-Frost and Tracy Nash with a 4 under par score of 50.  Valerie Nearon won the Closest to Pin prize on hole #4 and Katrin Burnie was closest on hole #15.

It was an enjoyable day under fabulous weather conditions!
